NHS Complaints advocacy is a Service User centred, flexible service that empowers anyone who wishes to resolve a complaint about healthcare commissioned and provided by NHS in England. It will also support Service Users with a grievance related to any aspect of healthcare that falls under the jurisdiction of the Health Service Ombudsman. (‘The Ombudsman’). Gateshead Council is acting as lead authority for this procurement on behalf of 10 local authorities.
An opportunity to tender for the provision of NHS complaints advocacy was previously published, however we were unable to appoint a provider to deliver this contract. Due to tight timescales associated with the delivery of this contract we are re-advertising this opportunity with a reduced tender return deadline. The deadline for the submission of tenders will be 12 noon, 23.1.2017.
