Brighton and Hove City Council is inviting interested organisations to apply to tender for 2 floating support service contracts.
The Community Floating Support Service for Adults provides support to people in supported accommodation to single individuals who have been made homeless. The Young People’s Tenancy Support Service aims to support young people who are living in independent accommodation to set up and maintain a tenancy, to access work and learning opportunities, health services and to develop support networks in order to maintain independent living without the use of formal support services.
Full details of the services can be found in the tender documentation. The contracts are for 3 years, with provision for 2 additional 1 year extensions.

1)Short description

Brighton and Hove has a range of supported accommodation available to single individuals who have been made homeless; this includes specialist accommodation for those with mental health issues. These accommodation services are due to be redesigned and the new Community Floating Support Service will be expected to work alongside the services to support people to access, maintain and move between accommodation. The service will be expected to both prevent people from losing their accommodation and assist those who have been in supported accommodation to settle and maintain independent accommodation.
