II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The delivery of an alternative provision framework, commencing 1.9.2015 until 31.8.2017. The Contract is a framework contract and the Council will make orders under it as and when it is needed. The Council makes no guarantee that any orders will be placed under the Contract. The Council is carrying out the procurement of this framework contract as an open tender. The nature of the client group dictates the need for alternative provision to be delivered at localites that are near to the residency and/or home school. As a consequence only those providers that are able to deliver within a six mile radious of the City boundary will be considered suitable to provide learning under the contract framework.

The reason there is no sub division into lots is to support participatory bodies with the flexibility to develop and provide bespoke services for young people.

” Where a consortium or other group dealing with suppliers submits a bid, such consortia or grouping must nominate a lead organisation to deal with NCC on all matters relating to the the Agreement. All consortium or grouping members will however be required to be jointly and severally liable in respect of the obligations and liabilites relating to the agreement.
