Bath and North East Somerset has a requirement for additional Alternative Education Provision for primary and secondary school pupils.

The Local Authority currently has a contract for alternative education provision which supplies 23 places in Bath, however its has been recognised that this is not sufficient for the local area. The need to increase capacity to 50 places was identified in the Behaviour Strategy 2015.
