This service required is the inspection of industrial and commercial premises for compliance against the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or any other associated risks to water quality.
This will involve the inspection of up to 50 000 properties over a period of between 1 and 3 years across the Anglian Water region. Anglian Water will consider award up to 3 companies; who will work within Anglian Waters defined and established processes to augment the existing internal resource.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The scope of the tender is for the inspection of circa 10 000 commercial and industrial properties per annum over a period of 5 years across the Anglian Water region. Anglian Water will award to a supplier who will work within Anglian Water’s defined and established processes to augment the existing internal resource.
The new framework is required for 3 years, with a possible 2 year extension period.
Anglian Water will provide the supplier(s) details of which premises require a physical inspection, the supplier will be responsible for the inspection, the production of reports detailing corrective actions and the follow up of those actions.
The supplier(s) are responsible for supplying staff fully equipped in line with the specification. The supplier(s) staff will be required to train on AW systems and keep those systems up to date with all the relevant information. All supplier(s) staff will require an Anglian Water induction and training on the Water Regulations database.
It is vital that appointments are kept as there is a requirement to pay a GSS (Guaranteed Standards of Service) payment if the appointment is not kept. Any failures may have a direct impact on the SIM ODI (Operational Delivery Incentives) measure, which measures customer satisfaction
AW must make it clear in the RFP that the suppliers will be invoiced for GSS payments.
