The Council require a number of fully qualified stump grinding contractors to undertake the removal of stumps on the highway, in parks and open spaces. These will be in a number of different surfaces i.e. tarmac, flag and grass. All arising’s to be taken off site or used to level area until permanent repair can be put in place. The site should be cordoned off or left in a safe manner that cannot result in claims against the council.
