Typically works will be undertaken at night to reduce disruption to the public, with a 4 man gang to carry out general thinning and removal of front line trees. Works are typically part of a large works programme but can range from 1 night to a couple of months with MEWP’s to access embankments and taller trees. Traffic management will be provided by WCBC, usually a high speed lane closure of full shutdown depending on the location. Occasionally works programs do include weekend working but normal hours will be 19:30 to 3:30 Monday to Friday. Day time works may be required to run simultaneously with a separate gang.
