The Establishment of this Framework Agreement is intended to cater for all of Metropolitans architectural and design related service requirements over the next 4 years.
Metropolitan’s development programme will comprise projects of varying types ranging from new build mixed use land lead schemes including community facilities and commercial facilities, on both Greenfield and Brownfield sites. Metropolitans schemes range in value from small general building works up to larger scale residential development works ranging from 1 000 000 GBP to 20 000 000 GBP+.
The Framework Agreement will be divided into 3 Lots which are based on project value bands.

Envisaged minimum number 14: and maximum number 21
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Metropolitan is seeking to establish a framework agreement which will be divided into 3 Lots (based on project value bands). Suppliers may be invited to tender for more than 1 Lot. Suppliers may then tender for as many Lots as they wish. However, Suppliers should note that Metropolitan will only appoint a Supplier to either Lot 1 or Lot 3 and that therefore the maximum number of lots to which a Supplier may be appointed under the Framework Agreement is 2. Metropolitan intends to select the 7 highest scoring bidders to tender for each. However In the event that 1 or more of the potential providers are in the 7 highest scoring bidders for Lots 1 and 3 Metropolitan will invite further bidders until there are a minimum of 7 distinctive suppliers per lot.
