II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
Viridian Housing wishes to procure a Framework Agreement pursuant to which it is envisaged that contracts will be let to consultants within the Framework for the provision of a range of consultancy services. The proposed Framework Agreement will be in place for a maximum period of 4 years, however contracts called-off under the Framework Agreement may, where appropriate, continue beyond the term of the Framework Agreement.
Under the Framework Agreement each company within the Viridian group (both current and future) will have the option to call-off contracts with individual consultants as and when services are required. In addition, other Social Housing Providers in the UK (both those that are in existence now and those that may come into existence during the term of the Framework Agreement) will also be entitled to call-off contracts under the Framework Agreement. Social Housing Provider for this purpose means any provider of social housing and includes registered housing providers (a list of which can be found by visiting www.homesandcommunities.co.uk.), Local Authorities and ALMOs. Such Social Housing Providers will only be entitled to call off under the Framework Agreement if Viridian Housing consents.

Applicants should note that, under the Framework Agreement, none of the members of Viridian Housing (or any other Social Housing Provider) shall be under any obligation to call-off contracts with individual consultants.
The Framework Agreement will be divided into 6 Lots. These Lots and the estimated value of the services to be called off under them over the 4 year term are set out in Annex B of this Notice.
