Plans include refurbishment of all of the park’s buildings — which date back to the mid-19th century — upgrade work on the park’s footpaths, play equipment and gates, as well as preservation and enhancement of the park’s magnificent landscape.
The HLF has pledged to provide a full grant for these works, but a second-round HLF application needs to be submitted to secure it. A suitably qualified and highly experienced Design Team is required to lead the project to fulfil both the HLF and the Council’s requirements for the project and its successful delivery.
The Design Team should comprise of a Project Manager, Architect (including Interior Design), Landscape Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Clerk of Works, Civil and Structural Engineer, Mechanical and Electrical (including ICT) Service Engineer, Activity Consultant, Business Planning Consultant and Principal Designer.
