The Station Hall at the National Railway Museum is a Grade II listed building. The Museum wishes to appoint an architect to lead a design team including structural engineer, quantity surveyor and CDM Co-ordinator to complete some important minor works within Station Hall. The proposed amendments to this space are demolitions and new construction works to complete the visitor flow ramp and stair arrangements, a newly re-furbished floor finish to the promenade space, two new external fire exit arrangements and a new free standing timber construction storage wall. The proposed scope of works requests the architect to complete full design services from RIBA stages C to L throughout. The Architect will be expected to provide all and any structural engineering services as required within their bid but the QS and CDM Co-ordinator will be appointed separately by the client directly.
