The contracting authority, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is seeking to procure consultants to undertake ‘Asbestos Related Consultancy Services’ to assist the Trust in the management of its asbestos requirements. The services will comprise a range of asbestos related consultancy services including — detail of which is fully set out in the PQQ and associated documentation. Services will be ‘called-off’ in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in each Agreement for each Lot. Consultants on the Framework Agreement will be required to undergo performance measurement and evaluation on an at least annual basis. Further information relating to this Framework are set out in the PQQ.

For the co-ordination and management of services relating to asbestos management on behalf of the Trust. The services to be provided under this ‘Lot’ comprise of undertaking the following typical duties:
— Consultation activities relating to asbestos;
— Project scoping;
— Co-ordination with other consultants/contractors working in trust properties;
— Asbestos management;
— Asbestos remediation support;
— Asbestos compliance support including legislation implementation as required;
— Co-ordinate annual inspection plan;
— Update Trust MICAD property compliance software;
— Provision of monthly compliance reports;
— Provision of ad-hoc data requests as required;
— Management of asbestos register;
— Reporting of incidents/exposures;
— Support relating to incidents/exposures as required;
— Asbestos training delivery (and other appropriate training as required).
