Lot 2 OnSite Quality Audits of Water and Wastewater, Visual Assessment of Condition and testing of joints on site and in the Laboratory includes Destructive and Non Destructive Pipe Liners Quality checks on site and in the Laboratory. Pressure test Analysis of Pressure pipes and fittings. Assessment and Audit of steel, concrete and other materials completed by others on construction sites and in manufacturers premises.
Tenders may be submitted for one or more lots
Installation Audits checking adherence to standards and specifications i.e UU spec and HAUC Spec.
Reinstatement Audits Visual.
Reinstatement Material Audits.
Reinstatement Material Testing.
Safety, Health and Environment procedure site inspection and audit.
Production of data and reports as determined by the Quality Manager.
Attendance at meetings as determined by the Quality Manager to provide expert and technical advice.
In addition to the above the Contractor will be required to conduct testing on new reinstatement products at suppliers premises to advise U.U. on suitability. The Contractor will be required to advise U.U. on changes to standards and highways legislation i.e. WIS, BS, BSEN, HAUC and to advise on Industry best practice.
Lot 2 Site Quality Audits of Water and Wastewater, Visual Assessment of Condition and testing of joints on site and in the Laboratory includes Destructive and Non Destructive Pipe and Liners Quality checks on site and in the Laboratory. Pressure test Analysis of Pressure pipes and fittings. Assessment and Audit of steel, concrete and other materials completed by others on construction sites and in manufacturers premises.
Visual Pipe Inspection and condition report (Any material).
Testing of Pipe and Liners (Any Material) by Destructive and or Non Destructive Testing methods either or on site and at a testing facility/ Lab.
Observation of Pipe jointing methods and equipment.
Coaching site staff on correct pipe jointing, lining and materials testing practices.
Carry out Pressure test analysis of Pressure pipes and fittings.
Audit of 3rd party pressure testing analysis of pipelines and vessels.
Audit of 3rd party contractors, suppliers and manufacturers procedures for materials testing including but not limited to pipe of any material, concrete cube tests, concrete slump tests, Lloyds accreditation of steel welders,
Audit of processes and procedures and randomised testing of coatings and linings.
In all cases work will culminate in the provision of a final report.
Description of these options: Contract duration 3 years with option to extend for 1 + 1.
