Leicester City Council would like to hear from any organisations willing to share information to what options exist now, in order for the Council to be able to plan accordingly to be able to commission a project to implement an authentication portal that provides multi-factor authentication (MFA) for cloud based services such as Microsoft Office 365 and a single sign-on functionality for selected applications.

Please note this is not a call for competition

The Soft Market Test will help Leicester City Council to obtain input from the market, to what options exist now, or are planned for the future, to plan accordingly on the developments in this area.
Even though the business requirements are known, the responses to this Soft Market Test will enable the Council to re- evaluate our current situation and determine the specification and implications for the relevant service provision. LCC is keen to explore all options and solutions available.

Potential Suppliers will not be prejudiced by any response or failure to respond to this soft market test exercise the Council are conducting, in any resulting procurement process.
