Short Description: The Cornwall Autism Partnership (CAP) aims to develop better support for people with autism in Cornwall through the development and delivery of co-facilitated training to to staff in health, social care, employment advice and other frontline public services that will enable staff to adopt a more adaptable range of responses in the way that they provide services for people with autism.

  • The objectives are that we 1. ensure that we have solutions available to train staff in the understanding of autism 2. Continue with specialist autism training for staff in health and social care. 3. Continue with training for all frontline staff in public services on autism awareness
  • challenging behaviour and communication. 4. Continue with training for health and social care staff on the personalisation agenda
