As part of the Great Exhibition of the North, NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI) is seeking to appoint a supplier to provide all AV requirements including LED screen system, AV control, distribution of signals to the LED screens (video viewing) and all associated equipment and personnel for the Opening Event on 22nd June 2018.

More detail on the requirements are defined in ‘Section 3 – Specification’ of the Tender document.

Great Exhibition of the North Opening Event AV System


The deadline for queries in relation to this tender is May 2nd 2018. A site map is available on request.

The Evaluation will be split into two distinct stages:
Selection criteria (Mandatory Requirements and Skills and Experience) and Award Criteria (Delivery and Price).
Mandatory Requirements are evaluated as a Pass/Fail.
Only those tenders that pass the Mandatory Requirements AND gain a minimum score of 12% Skills and Experience will go on to be evaluated on Delivery and Price.
The weighted combination for skills and experience, delivery and price will be: Skills and Experience at 20% + Delivery at 20% + Price at 60% = 100%.
