The service provision will be for a universal service for all children between the ages of 0 and 19 aiming to increase the health, well-being and safety of children and young people in Barnsley by working in partnership with all children and their families to offer a range of interventions that include immunisation, parenting advice, advocacy and public health information.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The service provision will be for a universal service for all children between the ages of 0 and 19 aiming to increase the health, well-being and safety of children and young people in Barnsley by working in partnership with all children and their families to offer a range of interventions that include immunisation, parenting advice, advocacy and public health information
The estimated annual value at present for the service is approximately 4 800 000 GBP per annum but year one of the contract is a 10 month period therefore the value for this period is approximately 4 000 000 GBP.
The service will include provisions within the contract for reviews as and when necessary in order to make changes to the service (and the charges) to take account of budget reductions which may be necessary as a result of the Government’s spending reviews from time to time as far as possible, the necessary changes would be by agreement, but there would be an ability for the Council to require the changes to be made by notice. “.

The tender will be performed upon the Yortender e -tendering system (www.yortender.co.uk) and no tender submissions or applications will be accepted outside the system. Barnsley MBC reserve the right to take account of social and environmental requirements within the tender/contract notice and/ or contract.
