The BBC is seeking a roster of suppliers to provide a best in class, flexible, fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, on-demand web performance monitoring solution to externally monitor the performance of the BBC’s key audience-facing online products and services and content available in the United Kingdom and internationally on standard web platforms (including desktop and web mobile). Suppliers will have experience working across multiple platforms, including mobile (e.g. Apple iOS), interactive, IPTV and standard web platforms, and will have the ability to respond to rapid changes occurring in the technology market as new technology, format and devices appear and existing solutions require refreshing.
The roster will replace the BBC’s existing roster for web performance monitoring and the successful suppliers will work with the BBC to configure their solution so as to provide a smooth and timely transition from the BBC’s existing suppliers.
It is expected that this framework will begin in the week commencing 9.5.2016. The duration of the framework will be 24 months with an option to extend by 12 months plus a further 12 months (48 months in total).
