SCC customers’ woodfuel stores require a mix of delivery types; blown or tipped. Most sites are blown delivery and these sites cannot accommodate any other form of delivery without modifications. Tipped delivery sites can receive blown product but this is not the preferred method for delivery. Other delivery methods can be considered but where modifications are required the supplier will bear all costs of these modifications and any subsequent or associated maintenance.
10.1 Please detail in a method statement of no more than 500 words how you have delivered similar services in the past, which reflect the need of the statement above. Your answer must include details of.
— Blown Chip – 15 %,
— Blown Pellet – 15 %,
— Tipped Walking floor Chip – 10 %,
— Tipped Walking floor pellet – 10 %.

The most economically advantageous tender in terms of the criteria stated below

1. Detailed mobilisation plan with a full programme of activities covering how you would familiarise yourself with our requirements; setting up of any sub-contracts; setting up of the account management team. Weighting 4

2. How you would manage this account. This should include all standard account management processes and any specific processes you would put in place for the benefit of Suffolk County Council. Details must include ash collection, and disposal in line with all current legislation. Weighting 6

3. Details of any and all depots which will be used in carrying out this contract. Please detail your complete supply chain for the products used in this service.This must include location, size, and number of staff based within. Weighting 4

4. Details on the number and type of vehicles currently being operated. This must include full details on how these vehicles meet all EU legislative requirements for the carrying of products. Information regarding how these vehicles meet current environmental standards in emissions. Weighting 4

5. Evidence of how you will be able to meet the delivery requirements of Suffolk County Council as detailed in the Specification Schedule. Weighting 7
