II.1.4)Short description:

BwDBC is looking to award a Framework Contract to supply, deliver, assemble, install and dispose of a range of office furniture and associated items for which suppliers are invited to tender.

A Pre Tender meeting is scheduled to be held in the Council Chamber, the Town Hall, King William Street, Blackburn, BB1 7DY on Wednesday 28.9.2016 at 14:30 (for approx. 1.5 hrs).

This will provide potential Bidders with an opportunity to review the draft tender document and to ask any questions that may arise regarding the specification of this tender.

Please email the contact officer stated on this notice to confirm your attendance to this Meeting and to provide the name(s) of the Representatives who will be attending. If your Organisation has a different Colleague who will actually then complete the tender document itself, it would be beneficial for them to also attend. A max of 3 representatives per organisation will be permitted to attend this Meeting.

The contract will be based on a range of standard office furniture and associated items which we will order periodically to form the core items as detailed in the technical/pricing schedules of the ITT document; however there may be a requirement for different furniture items during the lifetime of the contract.

Orders will be ‘called off’ as and when required by Departmental order placers via the Authorities nominated electronic marketplace website.
