The Borough Council of Bolton (the Authority) is prepared to receive tenders for Coroner’s Removal Services Framework on behalf of Her Majesty’s Coroners (HM Coroners) from the Greater Manchester region which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. The Framework Agreement period will be for 2 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 2, 12 month extensions. It is intended for the Framework Agreement to commence 7.12.015. The 4 Areas and Authorities (Lots) that are covered by the HM Coroners are:
— Lot 1 — Manchester City Area — Manchester City Council;
— Lot 2 — Manchester North Area — Bury Council, Rochdale Borough Council and Oldham Council;
— Lot 3 — Manchester South Area — Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, Trafford Council and Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council;
— Lot 4 — Manchester West Area — Bolton Council, Salford City Council, and Wigan Council The Authority will appoint a single contractor for each Lot on the Framework Agreement.

The Authority reserves the right not to award any Framework as a result of the procurement process initiated by this notice and will not be liable for any costs incurred by candidates. Interested parties must log on The Chest way of expression of interest. The Authority is using the e-business portal known as The Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link: https://www.the-chest.org.uk Once registered, Applicants will be emailed a username and password which will allow applicants to gain access to the Invitation to Tender. Applicants will need to electronically submit the completed questionnaire and accompanying documentation via the on-line portal by 16:00 on 14.10.2015. The framework period will be for 2 year with the option to extend for 2 12 month extensions.
