Description of the goods or services required

University of the West of Scotland are seeking to appoint a service provider to carry out a Brand Strategy project in order to capture the essence of the University and advise on how the brand underlines themes and targets of the University’s new Corporate Strategy.

This is a short term contract with an expectant duration of 4 months.

The purpose of this procurement is to appoint a market leading organisation for the provision of Brand Strategy on behalf of our Marketing and Communications Team.

The assignment will entail:

• Analysis of the current brand proposition and monolithic approach

• Recommendation on future brand architecture across a four-campus, multi school organisation

• Recommendations on a refreshed UWS brand proposition; and delivery of clear and unambiguous positioning around that proposition

• Recommendation on school / unit-level propositions within the overall UWS brand architecture

The appointed service provider will be required to engage in significant discussion and facilitate research with a range of stakeholders as part of the brand definition exercise.
