Bristol Water plc are seeking partners who will secure 100 % of the required funding and then deliver renewable energy solutions for sites identified. Our intention is to award a framework for solar and potentially wind renewable power solutions. These 2 sources of renewable energy will be our initial focus. There will be 2 lots. Bidders may bid for both lots or just 1 lot.
The framework supplier(s) will finance, project manage, design, procure, construct, operate and maintain the installations. Bristol Water plc has already identified a number of sites where such installations may be possible. Partners will be offered the exclusive opportunity to develop detailed proposals which allow Bristol Water plc to enter into a long term power purchase agreement with the supplier(s). Bristol Water plc will co-ordinate with the framework suppliers to identify and review proposals.

The total quantity or scope is difficult to forecast at this stage as it is dependant on the success of each development. However we believe that it should be possible to create multiple developments in the required range given the available footprints for potential development across our estate. We have not given precise energy requirements as the size of our sites can very considerably.
