The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 require that arrangements for the effective planning, organization, control, monitoring and review of the fire safety measures are in place and that a risk assessment is carried out. Fire Risk Assessments are required for the following OFD sites: Garelochhead; Loch Striven; Campbeltown and Loch Ewe. The supplier must be on the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Fire Risk Assessors’ or Fire Protection Association (FPA) Fire Risk Assessor Register.
