— any required attendance during sub-contractor visits,

Estimated Value:
The estimated value of the services to be covered by this contract is expected to be between GBP 55 000 and GBP 75 000 per annum, of which between GBP 20 000 and GBP 30 000 is allocated to planned preventative maintenance and between GBP 35 000 and GBP 45 000 is allocated to reactive services and small building works.

Description of these options: The contract, for a period of 5 years will commence on 4.2.2013, and there will be two one year options to extend for a further total period of 2 years. Extension will be at the discretion of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.

The contract will be placed with a single contractor to provide maintenance services. The contractor may engage subcontractors on a domestic basis providing both that the contracting authority’s prior written approval has been obtained and that the contractor indemnifies the contracting authority against the actions of the subcontractor.

Pre-qualification questionnaires will be distributed to any organisation expressing an interest in this contract to the contact detailed in this notice. All pre-qualification questionnaires must be requested and submitted by the time and date noted in section lV.3.4.
PHSO is not liable for any costs (including any third party costs, fees or expenses) incurred by those expressing an interest in or tendering for this contract opportunity.
PHSO reserves the right to withdraw from or discontinue the procurement process, which shall include the right not to award as a result of this call for competition.
Further details about PHSO’s requirements for the contract will be set out in the tender and contract documents.
Organisations invited to tender will be invited to an open pre-tender meeting at PHSO’s offices where further clarifications may be sought. It is anticipated that this will take place in October 2012. A firm date will be given in the Invitation to Tender.
