Description of the contract

Chelmsford City Council wish to appoint a contractor to undertake reinstatement and repair works to Lionmede Pavilion, a single story traditional construction building. The Pavilion (located within Lionmede Recreation Ground in Chelmsford, which is accessed off Springfield Road or Sandford Road) suffered significant fire damage in March 2014 and requires extensive reinstatement and repair works. Estimated Project Value: £113K Expected Date for Commencement of Contract: 27th October 2014 Shortlisting for invitation to tender will be by satisfactory evaluation of a completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. Blank questionnaires with further information are available from procurement@chelmsford.gov.uk The document must be completed and submitted by 13:00 Wednesday 16th July 2014 for it to be considered by the council.
