1. Background:
1.1. The Faculty of Education is the School of Education located in part of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Cambridge. Established in 2001, the School is a leading provider of undergraduate and postgraduate study in education.
1.2. The Faculty is located in private grounds off Hills Road, Cambridge. There are up to 150 staff and 500 students on-site.
1.3. The Café is in the Donald McIntyre Building (DMB) in the central communal area. It provides cafeteria facilities to the Faculty members, staff and visitors 5 days a week; it has its own production kitchen and storage facilities. The Café provides a range of snacks and hot food, including sandwiches, hot soup, jacket potatoes and at least 1 hot meal with vegetables each day. There is also a wide range of coffees and teas available as well as cold drinks and confectionery.
1.4. This is a concession style contract with a minimal fixed payment and a concession based on % of sales.
