This procurement seeks to establish a contract for capacity services at gigabit capacities accessing the GÉANT Network from the Albanian NREN’s point of presence in Tirana.
It is being conducted under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 in the form of an Open Procedure and GEANT Limited is seeking solution proposals and pricing for layer 2 circuits from 1 Gbps up to 3 GBps in order to establish the link.
Further, specific technical details and requirements are set out within Volume 2 of the ITT document set.
Contracts that may be awarded from this procurement will run for a maximum term of 3 years and will allow for incremental increases in capacity over time.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: GEANT Ltd will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which shall be for a minimum of 10 calendar days provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No 102) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
