Scottish Borders Council contracts approximately 4 300 hours of standard Care at Home service per week across the Scottish Borders. The Care at Home service supports the health and wellbeing of around 650 individuals per week in their own home. By providing personal care and social care meeting the National Care Standards, individuals are able to remain in their own homes in their communities.
Scottish Borders Council plans to tender for these services and intends to put a Framework Agreement in place for 4 years, with an estimated total value of circa 8 – 9 000 000 GBP.
We are inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced, qualified, and registered organisations interested in tendering for the provision of these services.
A provider event will be held at Scottish Borders Council Headquarters, Newtown St Boswells, MELROSE, TD6 0SA on 13.8.2012, at 15:00 to allow us to share further detail on the requirement and the associated procurement process.
