Flying Start Carmarthenshire are seeking to find childcare providers in 10 geographic communities in Carmarthenshire. We require a range of childcare agencies to provide childcare places at their own existing centre based nursery venues as well as childcare provision at Flying Start specific venues (School based venues) which are based within Flying Start geographic communities (or within pram pushing distance of up to a 15 minutes walk).
CSSIW registered sessional care is required to be provided to each eligible 2 year old for 2.5 hours per day for 5 days a week (total of 12.5 hours per week per child) for up to 42 weeks per year.
It has been confirmed by the current providers of this service that there are TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006) implications attached to this contract. Further details available in the tender documents.

Successful Childcare Providers working with Flying Start children must hold qualifications and be trained to the National Minimum Standards requirements. Managers, Leaders and staff must either be qualified to or prepared to work towards the qualifications detailed in the specification.
