Telford College of Art and Technology is a College of Further Education (16 years plus) occupying a campus location in Shropshire (TF1 2NP) The catering is provided from a number of outlets within the campus site. Students numbers are currently approx 1 700 full time and 6 000 part time students plus 500 full and part time staff.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

Catering services to the college students and staff. Services provided throughout the college day. The College operates over a 39-week year supplemented by additional courses during non-term-time periods. Tenders will be invited for a cost-negative catering service as the College has in recent years benefited from a profit return. College requires a maximisation of the catering facilities and an enhanced dining experience for both staff and students. College are keen to consider investment proposals which can be used to update the current facilities.

Companies must be able to demonstrate experience and expertise in the sector and currently operate within a 50-mile radius of the location. Short listing for Invitation to Tender will be subject to financial status and suitable references plus demonstration of Quality Assurance Procedures.

Abbreviated accounts for the last 3 years’ trading will be required at PQQ stage.

Last date for requesting this information is 12:00 noon on Friday 29.4.2016.

PQQs will need to be returned to that email address by no later than 17:00 on Monday 2.5.2016.

Candidates will then be informed whether they have been shortlisted to receive an Invitation to Tender and invited to a site visit to the College and to receive a presentation by the College regarding the catering requirements.
