The University are seeking to appoint one operator to provide exclusive Onsite Catering Services, for our Luton and Bedford sites. The Contract will be let on a commercial basis with a minimum guaranteed Fixed Fee, payable to the University; with the Service Provider taking responsibility for the recovery of cost from the revenue generated from catering operations.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: Tenderers’ will be assessedin accordance with Part V of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/5) which implement Title 2 Chapter 7 Section 2 of the 2004/18/EC Directive on the basis of information provided in response to the Invitation to Tender.
Completed responses to the Invitation to Tender must be returned via the University eTendering System (further details of which are available at Section III.2.1 of this OJEU Notice) before the deadline for receipt of responses as notified in Section IV.3.4 of this OJEU Notice.
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: 1. Financial statements or other information to demonstrates that the Tenderer has the requisite financial capacity to provide the service. Tenderers will be required to demonstrate a minimum turnover in each of the last 3 consecutive years of: 4 600 000 GBP or equivalent inthe reporting currency or equivalent proof of financial standing. In the case of a consortium bid, the combined annual turnover of the Tenderer and the relevant companies in each of the last 3 consecutive years must be noless than that specified in the paragraph and above the minimum annual turnover of at least one of the parties must be no less than 1 200 000 GBP or equivalent financial performance in reporting currency or equivalent proof of financial standing.
2. The Tenderer has the minimum insurance cover or is prepared to increase his cover to the required level at the time of entering into any Contract.
