Refurbishment of the 24/7 CCTV Monitored Chilton Control Room & Associated Works and the Provision of a Fully Comprehensive Maintenance Contract for 24/7 CCTV Services within the Durham County area.
The Contract shall comprise of:
— the refurbishment, upgrade and provision of new systems and software within the Chilton Control Room and to external systems and devices that will remotely link to Chilton Control Room in order that an overall CCTV management and operating system are provided from a single dedicated control room.
— A fully comprehensive maintenance works which shall comprise of two separate aspects:
i) preventative maintenance works that includes all cleaning and servicing of all CCTV mechanical and electrical plant and equipment, which shall be completed on a planned schedule of works;
ii) emergency repair/replacement of all plant and equipment associated with the CCTV installation.

Description of particular conditions: The Council has undertaken a commitment to ensure wider social and community benefits are achieved in the course of all it’s commissioning and procurement activities. The Authority does not intend to invite more than 6 Bidders to Tender. If there are two or more bidding organisations tied with the same total score such that the Authority does not have 6 clear bidding organisations to invite for Tender, the tie will be broken by revisiting the scores for the Techincal Questions in the order shown in the technical tie break methodology and priority table detailed within the Tender documents.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The contracting Authority will incorporate a standstill period at the point information of the award of the Contract is communicated to bidders. That notification will provide full information on the award decision.
