Description of the contract
As an employer, Ealing prides itself on its commitment to its staff. Ealing established a successful salary sacrifice childcare voucher scheme for staff in 2007. Ealing is now seeking a provider to manage the ongoing administration of the scheme.
The scheme will continue to be run in accordance with the Government’s salary sacrifice option, and will be available for all staff (to include teachers and support staff in schools) as long as they meet the qualifying criteria.
The chosen Service Provider will provide advice and guidance to staff regarding the scheme, including information and advice on what effect childcare vouchers have on Working Tax Credit or Childcare Tax Credit. The chosen Service Provider shall ensure that staff who choose to enter the scheme are fully aware of the qualifying criteria, terms, conditions and all implications of entering into the childcare voucher salary sacrifice scheme.
All potential participating employees are paid monthly. There is one common pay date for all teaching and non-teaching employees across the council, which is the 26th day of each month (or the day before if the 26th falls on a weekend or Bank Holiday).
