III.1.1)Deposits and guarantees required:

Please be aware of the successful Contractor’s obligations prior to the commencement date: — Not later than 14 days before the commencement date the Contractor shall at its’ own expense enter into a bond and/or parent company guarantee the terms of which shall be approved by the Council with a good and sufficient surety or the guarantee of a Bank or Insurance company who shall be jointly and severally bound with the Contractor in the sum of 10 % of the total value of the Contract throughout its duration for the due performance by the Contractor of its’ obligations under this contract and for the payment by the Contractor to the Council of all sums due hereunder including under condition 37 in the terms of a bond and/or guarantee undertaking. The Contractor shall ensure that such bond and/or parent company guarantee remains in force throughout the Contract period.

III.1.2)Main financing conditions and payment arrangements and/or reference to the relevant provisions governing them:

There is a minimum financial threshold set within the evaluation criteria for this PQQ, please self-certify by answering ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ that your company turnover is more than two times the value of the initial contract term, i.e. 3 years. Suppliers should note that the value of the initial contract term is circa 1 390 000 GBP, and as such your turnover must be greater than 2 780 000 GBP. The current cost of the service is approximately 464 638 GBP per annum, 1 400 000 GBP for the initial 3 year contract term. The contract includes a possible extension for a further period up to 12 months to 31/03/20, providing a potential total contract value of 1 850 000 GBP. However the successful provider will be expected to generate efficiencies on an annual basis to significantly reduce the cost of the services.
