Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: All Marsh offices have access to information provided by the Marsh Market Information Group (MIG) who monitor and analyse the financial condition of the insurer companies/entities with which Marsh places business. Reports can be produced to provide detailed credit analysis of prospective or current insurers.
MIG analysts review and examine an insurer’s profitability, liquidity, leverage, operating results, asset mix, reinsurance security and loss reserve adequacy. This also includes benchmarking insurers against their peers and the overall industry.
Marsh will only use companies that meet our minimum rating criteria — currently this is Standard and Poor’s rating of A-. Our client account representatives are responsible for determining whether or not an insurer meets Marsh’s financial guidelines and we need the express permission of our clients before we will use companies that fall below this minimum rating standard.

Parties that wish to be considered for inclusion in the tender process must first express their interest by writing to geraldine.morgan@marsh.comstating which particular lot (one or more) that they wish to be considered for. Expressions of interest must be received by no later than the 21.10.2015.

A tender process shall follow for each insurance category (lot) from which the most economically advantageous offer shall be determined. This determination shall be based upon the tender return and subsequent negotiations — albeit not all tendering organisations shall be invited to proceed to the negotiation stage.
