II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

North Somerset Council are inviting applications from suitably qualified providers who wish to be considered for entry onto North Somerset Council’s Framework Contract to deliver this mental health service only. Applications for entry onto the Framework Contract are open to domiciliary care providers and support providers who currently have:
— no formal contracts with North Somerset Council;
— an existing contract with North Somerset Council.
Prior to applying please ensure that you can meet the below criteria,
1. That each Provider will have a local office address. ‘Local’ includes the areas of North Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath and North East Somerset. Any Provider who does not currently have an office in one of the local areas and is successful with their application will be required to have a local office base within the first 3 months of implementation of the Framework Agreement (i.e. by 30.9.2015).
What will happen next?
An evaluation will be carried out on the application submission. This will involve scoring the information provided against a set of criteria, and making a decision based on this as to whether the provider meets the required standard expected by North Somerset Council.
