Awarding body The Borough Council of Wellingborough
|EST. START DATE:||14/09/2015|
|EST. END DATE:||23/09/2015|
The Borough Council of Wellingborough has been awarded £1.4m by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a Townscape Heritage project in the town centre. The repair and restoration of the Hind Hotel (statutorily listed grade II*) was identified as a major project at the initial application stage. The project cost is now estimated to be in the region of £950,000. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Conservation Accredited Architect or Building Surveyor to lead both the application process (for the HLF grant and planning and listed building consents) and the on-site works. This will involve working with the Hind Hotel, the HLF’s advisors, and the Borough Council of Wellingborough. Expertise and experience necessary to complete a high quality conservation project is mandatory.
