West Yorkshire Police are seeking to explore potential opportunities to deliver effective and efficient system integration across existing HR, Payroll, Finance, Resource Management systems and potentially other operational systems.   The Force is keen to establish the feasibility of integrating our existing systems to remove inefficient practises such as duplication and data integrity audits.  In addition to this we would like to understand how integration will facilitate improved data quality and reporting to provide consistent data sets and deliver ‘one version of the truth’.   The Force would also be interested to learn how integration might assist it to maximise efficiency opportunities through effective Business Process Automation and Self Service.   Due to the technical nature of this requirement WYP are keen to engage with experienced providers on views, mechanism and delivery of a system integration.  In order to enable the engagement it is the intention of West Yorkshire Police to hold a soft market testing session with any interested party to understand the market’s appetite and capability.     All interested suppliers must note that this is a request for information and market understanding, not a formal request for quotation or formal tender and therefore we are not seeking formal offers at this stage.  Please also note that by attending the event, this does not guarantee any future work. Any future tender opportunity will be advertised via the Bluelight website and appropriate journals where applicable.     All presentation literature will be provided prior to the event for any supplier unable to attend the Soft Market Testing day.  The literature will be available via the New Opportunities area of the Bluelight website, to gain access you will need to express interest in the opportunity which has been advertised using the CPV codes 72227000 and 72228000 Integration Consultancy Services.       Registration for the Event       Interested parties are required to register for the System Integration Soft Market Test event taking place on the 9th May 2014.  To register please email procurement@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk with the names of the delegates attending, no later than 7th May 2014.      Places are limited for this event therefore a maximum of three people from each company are permitted.      Delegates are required to bring a form of picture identification with them on the day.  Visitor parking is available on a first come first served basis in the nearest car park.  Vehicles must be parked in the marked bays without causing obstruction and parking is at the owner’s risk.    Delegates are asked to attend reception where further direction to the venue will be provided on the day.     Further information will be provided once registration has been confirmed.   The presentations are due to commence at 1.00pm therefore could all suppliers arrive between 12.30 and 12.45 for registration and refreshments.  Due to site restrictions, the event will close at 16.00 hours and all parties must be away from the site by 16.15hrs.     If you require any assistance or have any questions regarding the event, please email procurement@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
