PenTAG (Peninsula Technology Assessment Group) is one of several university-based research groups in the UK contracted to produce high quality systematic reviews and economic analyses of health technologies for NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) and the NIHR (National Institute for Health Research) HTA programme. NICE provides the NHS with guidance on effective, good value healthcare. We are based within the Institute of Health Research within the University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS). Our ambition is to continue delivering TARs of high quality in a timely fashion to challenging deadlines, flexibly responding to the ever changing demands characterising health policy-making at a national level. We are seeking a partner to deliver approximately 10% of our contracted capacity, rising to 20% in times of peak demand for the remainder of the current contract (May 2016). We are particularly looking for assistance with Single Technology Appraisals (STAs).
