Crown Commercial Service (CCS), as the Contracting Authority, intends to put in place a pan government commercial arrangement for the provision of a range of business and management consultancy and related services to potentially cover the following:
— Multi specialism programme delivery;
— Management consultancy — policy development and advice; organisational strategy;
— Functional advice and support — change management (PPM); human resource management; procurement; information and communications technology;
— Financial advice and financial strategy;
— Audit — internal audit and advice; other assurance and advice; financial audit and investigation; external audit and advice;
— A range of other services associated with the provision of consultancy within the public sector.
The above is subject to change.
This commercial arrangement will replace the existing RM1502 ConsultancyONE framework, currently managed by CCS. It is possible that the new arrangement will be split into lots, or different procurement vehicles. The structure of these lots/ vehicles has yet to be determined.
The purpose of this PIN is to:
— Provide advance notice that CCS (as the Contracting Authority) is to consider undertaking a tendering exercise to set up a new contracting vehicle to service Central Government and Wider Public Sector Organisations for business and management consultancy and related services.
— Identify suppliers who would like to participate in industry days. The purpose of these days is to explain the business requirement and procurement strategy options in more detail. They will also provide an opportunity for suppliers to engage, ask questions, seek feedback and input into the commercial strategy. It is anticipated that these events will take place on 23, 24 and 25.2.2016 in London and 1.3.2016 in Manchester. Full details are subject to final confirmation. This Market Engagement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service’s e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this Market Engagement, participants must first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite.

Your email must clearly state the name and reference for the Market Engagement; the name of the registered supplier; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done.

On 2.4.2014, the Government introduced its new Government Security Classifications (GSC) classification scheme to replace the current Government Protective Marking Scheme (GPMS). A key aspect of this is the reduction in the number of security classifications used. All potential suppliers should make themselves aware of the changes as it may impact on this Requirement.
