A Service provider for Content management system. An externally hosted content management system to support our external facing website, project sites and password protected staff intranet with a search function within the overall package. To provide a fully supported service, while being flexible in delivery to support any fluctuations through the academic year, including substantial peaks during ‘Clearing’. Your solution will enable the University to deliver an outstanding experience for all audiences and throughout the student journey. The web presence currently covers over 100 000 assets including media and pages, all of which require access to XML formatted databases. To provide a secure hosting environment, web development and server support for an open source content management system such as Matrix or equivalent along with a search function to work with the CMS which will power the site and course search. Option to extend contract by an additional 2 years.

Precise information on deadline(s) for review procedures:

The University of Bedfordshire will incorporate standstill period from the date when the information on the award of the contract(s) is communicated to the tenderers. The notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for the unsuccessful tenderer to take any action they deem necessary should they feel aggrieved, before any contract is entered into. Part 3 of the Public contract regulations provide for the aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the regulations, to take action in the High Court (England and Wales). Any such action must be brought within applicable time periods.
