Southampton Solent University has issued a call for competition for Expressions of Interest to be submitted by interested Economic Operators for the provision of Marketing Services, specifically creative agency support, media buying and public affairs agency support.
Southampton Solent University (SSU) is looking for new partners to help support the development of its brand locally, nationally and internationally through creative campaigns, targeted use of media and targeted profile raising. In order to realise this aim, we are seeking expressions against a three ‘Lot’ tender consisting of:
1. Creative Agency;
2. Media Buyer (on and offline);
3. Public Affairs Agency.
This is a PQQ stage, Southampton Solent University will be looking to shortlist between 5 and 8 suppliers per lot to go through to the future ITT stage. Please complete PQQ stage only. ITT provided only as contract guide.

Southampton Solent University is seeking to appoint a creative agency to handle all aspects of its advertising process — including creative development and production (on and off line). The agency will also provide other marketing services when required including design, copywriting, and general marketing support to the Director of Marketing and Communication Services. The Agency will work closely with and act as an extension of the in-house team.

Southampton Solent University is seeking to appoint a media buyer to work along-side our creative agency and in-house teams in the management of our advertising activities on and off line — including production, general media buying, planning and day-to-day management and optimisation of campaigns. The agency will plan, implement and manage B2C as well as some B2B campaigns based on client briefs and provide relevant and useful management information within agreed timelines. The agency will work closely with the in-house team to identify the best way to set-up and integrate campaigns for end-to-end tracking and provide advice on long term development of our advertising requirements.

Southampton Solent University is seeking to appoint a public affairs agency to work with as a strategic partner to help us protect, enhance and build our reputation through media and engagement. A core focus for the agency will be to work with nine of our senior managers, to support their roles as spokes people for their respective areas/disciplines and for the purpose of raising profile, recognition and reputation. The agency will need to plan, implement and manage key profile raising initiatives based on client briefs and support the in-house PR & Communications as required.
