Description of the goods or services required

VisitScotland operates and manages 79 manned VisitScotland Information Centres (VICs) and support the operation of 33 Information Points in Partnership (PiPs) with other businesses. There is a substantial cost associated with delivering this service and the VisitScotland Board have agreed that although the on-arrival information provision will remain a core objective, the VIC network must be reviewed and services moving forward should be delivered on a cost neutral basis without compromising the excellent service delivered to visitors.

VisitScotland is looking to undertake an economic impact study of the VIC network to establish its value to the Scottish economy.
