The contract is being procured on behalf of both Durham County Council, Northumberland Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and North Cumbria University Hospital NHS Trust as part of a collaborative joint procurement exercise.
This Contract is for the supply of a wide range of non operated hired plant and equipment to Durham County Council, Northumberland County Council, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and North Cumbria University Hospital NHS Trust.
The contract will include General Plant and Equipment and Specialist plant and equipment without an operator for use on Highways, Civil Engineering and Building Construction and Maintenance projects. This Contract does not include any operated plant and vehicles or site accommodation and welfare facilities. The expected start date for the contract is 1.4.2016 with an expiry of 31.4.2018. The contract is let with an option to extend for up to a further 2 x 12 months from the actual end date.

Once you have expressed your interest until 18.11.2015 the documents are ready to be downloaded from this Nepo system, and completion and return of the PQQ by 16:00 on 23.11.2015. It is anticipated that tender documents will be sent to short listed bidders on the 7.12. 2015.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point information of the Award of the Contract is communicated to bidders. That notification will provide full information on the Award decision. The standstill period which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days provides time for the unsuccessful bidders to EN Standard Form 02 — Contract Notice 12/16 challenge the award decision before the Contract is entered into. The Public Regulations 2015 provide the aggrieved parties who have been harmed or at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England,Wales and Northern Ireland).
