Description of the contract

The Department wishes to procure the provision of a Parenting Group which will be responsible for ensuring that the views of parents are collected and inputted to the CYP IAPT Project at a national and local level. The aim is to ensure that the transformation of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) that C&YP IAPT seeks to achieve will include at its core the views of parents on the design of services etc. CYP IAPT is a service transformation project for CAMHS that focuses on extending training to staff and service managers in CAMHS and embedding evidence based practice across services, making sure that the whole services, not just the trainee therapists, use session-by-session outcome monitoring. Children and young people are involved at a national level to help steer the project. In addition, each of the sites is committed to working with children and young people locally, listening to their wishes and preferences.
