Aims to ensure the safe discharge of patients from acute and non-acute NHS settings, provide short-term reablement programmes, prevent delayed transfers of care, provide nursing for patients with dementia.
The service will commence on 1.10.2017 and be for 6 months, with the potential to extend the contract by a further 12 months. A PIN notice was issued on 4.5.2017 Prior Information Notice 2017/S 086-167777
Completed ITT documents must be submitted by 17:00 on Monday 7.8.2017
The Council intends to use an evaluation model based on quality and price. The criteria, on which tenders will be evaluated, inclusive of weighting attached to each, will be included within the tender document.

Service will be of a maximum of 6 week in duration per individual.

The Council House
Sandwell MBC will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
