Supported Living Services – Scheme 2 (4 Properties)
The London Borough of Bromley (“the Council”) is inviting tenders from experienced providers with a proven track record of providing supported living services for clients with a learning disability and who may also have challenging behaviour, mental health and / or complex health needs within four existing supported living schemes situated in the London Borough of Bromley (“the Services”).

The Services are located at Century Way, Beckenham; Dunstonian Court, Petts Wood; Padua Road, Penge and Masons Hill, Bromley.

The Tender will be divided into 2 Lots:

Lot 1:  Century Way and Dunstonian Court
Lot 2:  Padua Road and Masons Hill

Providers are welcome to tender for a single Lot or both Lots.

The clients have their own tenancies with a Registered Social Landlord. The landlord function will be separate from the care and support provision.  The Services are currently provided by four different care and support providers.

One Service is provided on a group supported living basis, with Clients in the remaining three schemes having their own individual flats; a description of each of the properties is included with the Tender Documents as attachment titled “Property Profiles”.  Where there is access to a staff flat within a scheme, the rental and utility costs will be paid by the Council on submission of a separate invoice.

The age and ability of the clients vary and a profile of each client is included with the main tender documentation.

The aim of the Service is to provide care and support to assist vulnerable clients to live as independently as possible in the community. The support provided will need to have the flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the clients.  It is expected that the Services will be appropriate to the needs of the individual clients as well as the application of good practice and striving to meet the strategic goals set out in the latest national policies and guidance.

TENDERERS SHOULD NOTE THAT INFORMATION RELATING TO THE CURRENT NUMBER OF SUPPORT HOURS PROVIDED IN EACH OF THE 4 PROPERITIES WILL BE PROVIDED TO TENDERERS VIA THE TENDERS PORTAL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE TENDR PERIOD.
