The supplier awarded the contract must be fully operational by the contract start date. Prior to expiry of the 36 month contract term the service will be reviewed. Estimated value of the contract is approximately 120 000 GBP over the contract term.

The tender documents are available on Lancashire County Council’s electronic tendering site. Use of this system does not require high specification IT equipment or connections, nor high level personal IT skills/capabilities and is free of charge. The contract covers the administrative County of Lancashire; however, where a successful bidder’s capacity and capability permits, the agreement will be open to other Public sector bodies, who may wish to access the provision. Any such contract entered into will be wholly independent of the both the contract and relationship between the successful tenderer and LCC, and will be entered into without any reliance on any representations made by LCC. Where contracts are entered into with any third party other than LCC, LCC accepts no liability for the act or omissions of that third party with the exception of personal injury, death or fraud where such is either directly or indirectly caused as a result of LCC’s act or omission. A tenderer’s capacity, capability or unwillingness to contract with other UK Public Sector Bodies as described above will NOT affect or be considered as part of the scoring of a tenderer’s submission.
