This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for information only. It is not a formal invitation to tender.
Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) is considering options for the procurement of an SNBTS Customer Relationship Management System to support the execution of SNBTS activities across Scotland.
This notice outlines the core operational requirements for the CRM required by SNBTS to provide a bi-directional communication interface with MAK System’s eProgesa application providing them with the capability of managing Donor administration and recruitment and planning Donation Sessions.
An Initial Agreement for the development of a SNBTS CRM has now been approved by National Services Scotland (NSS) and an Outline Business Case is being prepared.
The key areas of functionality include:-.

— Medical Management of Donors,
— Donor Complaints and Enquiries.
Recruitment and Publicity.
— Donor Communications,
— Donor Publicity.
Donor Session Management.
— Session Planning,
— Online Functionality,
— Management Information.
The solution will be used by SNBTS staff throughout Scotland, in particular, in the regional bases in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.
The solution will ideally:
— Be a commercial off the shelf product,
— Function across organisational boundaries on a national basis,
— Be able to receive and produce data in a standard format,
— System will allow data uploads via a single interface.
